Michael Vick: Returning to the NFL ?

Michael Vick, the football player convicted of animal abuse (including murder) and vicious dog fighting is seeking reinstatement to the NFL. NFL Commissioner Goodell stated that Vick's "remorse and regret" may lead to Vick's reinstatement. He's got to be kidding. Pete Rose was banned from baseball for life for gambling, a far worse transgression than dog fighting and killing dogs through electrocution, beatings and drownings. Vick claims he wants to be reinstated because he says that is the only way he can pay his bills. Stating that a $10 dollar an hour construction job will not allow him to live in the lifestyle to which he had become accustomed to in the NFL. Others are forced to survive on $10 an hour or less, why should he be different?

As a hard working animal lover, write Goodell today and let him know that you do not approve of Vicks reinstatement.
